AI Agent Skills
Install the `vesk` and `react-to-vesk` skills into your AI coding tool so agents reference the current Vesk API, not training data.
An AI coding agent is only as good as the reference it carries. Vesk ships two Agent Skills that pin that reference to the source of truth: the `vesk` skill is the canonical .vsk/API manual agents load before writing Vesk code, and `react-to-vesk` is a step-by-step conversion recipe for migrating React, Next.js and TanStack apps. One installer drops both into every major AI tool's native skill-discovery location.
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/emeraldlinks/veskTs/main/scripts/install-skills.sh | bash
What you get
- `vesk` — the authoritative Vesk reference: .vsk components, track() reactivity, statement/expression bodies, islands, routing, data fetching, forms and server actions, API routes, config, and CLI commands.
- `react-to-vesk` — precise React/Next.js/TanStack → .vsk migration recipes (hooks, routers, Query/Redux, forms, SSR modes, API routes), validated with `vesk typecheck` and the hydration suite.
Supported tools
- opencode (`~/.config/opencode/skills`)
- Claude Code (`~/.claude/skills`)
- GitHub Copilot (`~/.copilot/skills`)
- OpenAI Codex (`~/.codex/skills`)
- Gemini CLI / Antigravity (`~/.gemini/antigravity/skills`)
- Cursor and Windsurf (project-scoped `.cursor/skills`, `.windsurf/skills`)
Piping to bash installs only into tools whose skill directory already exists (the ones that are actually installed). Pin explicitly with VESK_SKILL_PLATFORMS=opencode,cursor, provision everything with `bash -s -- --all`, and re-run to refresh — re-running rewrites to the current skill content.
